Christy Miller is the Chief Executive Officer of BCL Enterprise, bringing over 35 years of expertise in the technology design industry. Since beginning her career in 1990, Christy has become a leader in the field, guiding BCL as a groundbreaking, woman-owned design-build firm specializing in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems. As CEO, she shapes the company’s strategic vision, ensuring BCL remains committed to providing vendor-neutral ICT consulting services and sustainable, forward-thinking solutions.
A passionate advocate for end-users, Christy is dedicated to raising awareness of the vital role technology plays in construction and renovation processes. She also champions continuing education in the ICT industry, helping professionals stay ahead in a rapidly evolving field – she proves this as a Certified Trainer for BICSI design courses. Under her leadership, BCL Enterprise has become the preferred partner for facility design across a wide range of sectors, including education, healthcare, government, non-profits, and data centers. Christy’s focus on client engagement and fostering strong relationships has been key to positioning the company as a trusted leader in the industry.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wilmington College (2002) and several prestigious certifications, including BICSI RCDD, RTPM, DCDC, Certified Trainer, and Ekahau ESCE. Her commitment to professional growth is reflected in her previous roles as Treasurer and the North Central Region Director and her active contributions to industry standards, including writing ANSI BICSI and Infocom standards. Additionally, she serves as Vice-Chair for the TIA TR-60 Lifecycle Management Committee.
Christy’s impact extends beyond BCL, with notable contributions to projects for the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC), where she served as an OSDM project reviewer from 2011 to 2021, and co-author of the technology and security standards. Her focus on advancing technology design, particularly in educational facilities, has driven significant progress and innovation.
