Mike Sexton is a Senior Communications Designer at BCL Enterprise with over 25 years of experience in e-learning development, audio-visual technologies, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and systems. A recognized expert in integrating technology with education, Mike has been instrumental in driving numerous high-profile classroom projects. His work has impacted renowned institutions such as the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University, The Ohio State University, and many more. Throughout his career, Mike has been a key advocate for the use of IP-centric audio-visual technologies to enhance educational experiences and improve teaching methodologies. 

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Michigan University (1991) and is certified as an RCDD and ESS professional. His career prior to BCL includes a role as Communications, Security, and Audio-Visual Associate at HED, where he led the design, procurement, implementation, project management, and commissioning of a wide range of projects. These included LAN and WAN cabling infrastructure, data center systems, electronic security, wireless data networks, professional audio-visual systems, and public address systems. His extensive technical expertise spans across both infrastructure design and complex audio-visual systems integration. 

In addition to his professional work, Mike has been actively involved with BICSI, previously serving as the North Central Assistant Regional Director. He has also contributed to the development of several telecommunications and security industry standards, underscoring his commitment to advancing the field.
