Chris Drerup serves as the BIM Manager at BCL Enterprise, bringing with him more than 28 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and design industry. With a deep background in low-voltage, audiovisual, and security system design, Chris plays a critical role in shaping BCL’s approach to modern building technology. He is highly proficient in drafting and modeling using industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, making him a vital contributor to the success of BCL’s infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.

Chris Drerup’s passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and design is matched by his dedication to streamlining internal workflows and improving the overall design process. Since joining BCL, he has led efforts to increase team efficiency by optimizing drafting standards, improving file management practices, and creating systems that allow designers and engineers to collaborate more effectively. His leadership has elevated the quality and consistency of BCL’s deliverables, reinforcing the company’s reputation for technical excellence.

Before his time at BCL, he was the Lead Security Designer at TRUSYS, Inc., where he focused on the development of advanced Intrusion Detection and Access Control solutions for high-security environments. His work there involved designing tailored security infrastructures for critical facilities, helping protect both people and property through intelligent, scalable solutions.
