BIM Technician

David Grindstaff is a BIM Technician at BCL Enterprise, bringing over 18 years of technology design experience to the team. David’s role involves creating design drawings across multiple markets, where he produces project models, designs technology for each space, develops project templates and families, and writes scripts to streamline internal processes.

David’s drafting career began in high school with his first AutoCAD class, which ignited a passion for design that ultimately led him to earn a degree in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Tech (2011). With a background in steel manufacturing and technology design, David brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to each project. His skill in Revit customization allows him to deliver precise and efficient designs, ensuring a seamless project experience. Prior to joining BCL, David’s portfolio spanned diverse projects—from corporate offices and educational campuses to convention centers and large-scale data centers for clients like Facebook.

Outside of work, David enjoys outdoor activities, including baseball and skiing/snowboarding, along with his creative pursuits in art, where he draws both digitally and with traditional media. His dedication to both technical and creative growth exemplifies the adaptability he brings to his role at BCL.
