Blake Young

Project Manager

Blake Young is a BICSI Certified Project Manager at BCL Enterprise, bringing over 16 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage systems and telecommunications infrastructure. In his role, Blake is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of installation projects from start to finish. He works closely with project technicians, foremen, and fellow managers to ensure that all project goals are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Blake’s expertise includes access control systems, data network infrastructure, security camera (CCTV) systems, and advanced troubleshooting. He plays a vital role in supporting and developing BCL’s technical workforce, leading regular jobsite safety trainings and implementing detailed safety protocols to ensure a secure and productive work environment. His leadership and mentorship have made a lasting impact—many of the technicians he has trained started with little to no experience and are now capable of independently managing complex project scopes.

Blake holds several professional certifications, including BICSI RTPM, Hanwha, Axis, DSX, and multiple structured cabling systems such as Siemon, Leviton, Signamax, and Videcon. He entered the telecommunications industry in 2007 as an entry-level technician, having no previous exposure to the field. Through hard work and a commitment to learning, he quickly gained the technical skills and leadership experience needed to rise through the ranks.

Blake’s career has included roles as a foreman, project manager, and eventually Director of Operations, where he was responsible for managing multimillion-dollar telecom projects, including work for Fortune 500 clients. His ability to adapt, train others, and lead large teams through complex installations showcases both his technical knowledge and his dedication to team success.

Outside of work, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife and children and is an avid woodworker. His passion for craftsmanship extends beyond the job site, where attention to detail and creativity continue to drive his personal and professional life.
